A little bit about my History
I have enjoyed creating art in various forms over the years and recently have been dedicating more time in creating mixed media artworks. I studied Art at School and over the years have harvested the best elements from various art courses with the aim to blend these into my artworks including motorsport art , subjects from the natural world , driftwood as well as seaglass projects. I have a background of competing in Motorsports in Ireland at a high level. This included co-driving in Ex-works Rally Cars in the Circuit of Ireland Rally. as well as in Vintage Car Rallies in rare Alfa Romeo`s, Bugattis and even Austin Seven around Ireland. I also competed in Autotests so have an intimate idea of what if feels like inside high speed adrenaline fuelled sports !!​ My Dad was a famous Irish Rally Driver and multiple Autotest Champion ( Ken Shields ) . My Grandpa also raced in Speed trials in Northern Ireland around 1918-1920 on BSA and NORTON motorbikes. ​I also enjoy playing Golf , Fishing , Bowling , Walking and my faith is important. I live in Belfast Northern Ireland. At 60 years old now I am keen to explore my unique style and be independent of traditional methods. I am excited as to where this adventure will lead to !! I welcome suggestions as to commissions and can give an estimate on time to complete the Art depending on the complexity and size. A price will be estimated and once agreed I can keep you posted with work in progress updates and photos. Only upon completion of the work would payment be maDe and no interim payments are required. I work on the basis of trust and integrity.
